PRIORY CHURCH QUEENSFERRY
Bus, rail, bike & road…
The Priory Church is 10 miles west of Edinburgh city centre, between the landmark road and rail bridges which span the Firth of Forth.
Address: Hopetoun Rd, South Queensferry EH30 9RB.
By bus, take the Lothian Country bus 43 between Edinburgh and Queensferry: the church is right next to the Queensferry Police Station stop. Lothian Country bus 71 between Queensferry ad the Gyle Centre uses the same stop.
By train travel to Dalmeny Station, using frequent local services from Edinburgh and Fife. It’s then a 15-20 minute walk, or you can catch the 43 bus to Queensferry Police Station.
If you cycle, there are three bike racks at the edge of the church grounds, situated at the junction of The Loan and Hopetoun Road.
Car parking is freely available next to the church in Rose Lane Car Park, but scarce at popular times. Additional unrestricted on-street parking is available further up The Loan. The ScotMid Co-op car park on The Loan is also available: during business hours, it’s free of charge for two hours (strictly applied), while in the evening and on Sunday morning until 1pm it is free and unrestrcted. Finally, on both The Loan and the High Street, there is some Edinburgh City Council on-street metered parking where the usual restrictions and charges apply.

The Priory Church of St Mary of Mount Carmel is an Anglican church, part of the Diocese of Edinburgh, in the Scottish Episcopal Church.
